SMORE-A-licious! - DAY 1

Instead of doing an advent calendar I thought I would try doing something "different" every night leading up to Christmas. Tonight we played a board game (SORRY) and enjoyed roasting (or burning) SMORES! I am open for ideas as to WHAT we will do EVERY DAY for 24 days..ugghh! What was I thinking...

I am extremely thankful for the health of my family! 

Today Caitlyn (my 11 year old) replaced her glasses with CONTACTS....Oh my, she is growing up so fast.  

Everything back to normal...CHAOS!

Okay, so I said that I would post my "completed" book. It has been nothing but straight chaos at my house.  I will post the completed book tomorrow.  (Please let there ONLY be Creative Chaos at my house tomorrow!)

We have been taking out all of the Christmas decorations since Friday..umm today is SUNDAY..ouch! So far we have 2 trees out and boxes EVERY where. Oh and not to mention, the trees aren't even decorated. My head hurts! No, seriously I am truly in the Christmas "mood".  I am in the MOOD for someone to come to my house and decorate and ME watch THEM. Thank goodness my mom is coming to help.

ALMosT DoNE

Well my "25 Days Til Christmas" book/December organizer is just about done.  Here is a peek of some of the pages.  Ohhhh and my sweet and "sew" talent friend, Carol has made me a cover for my book.  It is just precious! It's made with red fabric & cute gingerbread men and candy cane all over it AND stitched all around the edges.  Oooo...I just LOVE it!!! I admire her for her wonderful sewing talent! 

I will post the "finished book" tomorrow. Until then... here are some sneak pictures

Today I am extremely thankful that my husband is so giving! He came home from work and went straight to completing my scrapbook room! He loves me so! heehee

Today I am thankful for my husband.  Two hours ago I "mentioned" to him that I wanted my scrapbook room painted....I wish it was ALWAYS this easy! This is the bathroom nook, the rest of the walls will be a neutral color (ponytail is the name of the neutral color paint).  Yea!

25 Days Til" Christmas Book

Thanks to my friend Carol...she inspired me to create a 25 Days Til Christmas.  I gave in and here are SOME of my goodies I will be using in it.  This book will be for me to insert pictures into everyday AND for me to journal AND make my TO DO LIST during the month of December.

Neighbors

Yummy cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies...Life is great to have such sweet neighbors! The family and I are just sitting around the house, watching the fire.  All of a sudden there is a knock at the door..it is my neighbor Kelly.  She brought over homemade cupcakes and  cookies. Mind you, they are Weight Watcher cupcakes that are made with BIG RED drink (my favorite). Even though the yummies were made for my husband, I MUST say that I could not resist! 

Thanks Kelly and Matt for your kind and giving hearts! We love having you two as our neighbors!

ThaNKFUL

Another beautiful day! I am thankful today for my mom. She loves me unconditonal. Mother's are so very special and I am thankful every day that I have her.  She is everything to me!

Today I am extremely thankful for my home and what goes on in it.  This morning was such a smooooth morning.  Everybody went off to school with NO complaints and NO DRAMA...THAT is something I am VERY THANKFUL for.

THANKFUL

So...I just realized today that NEXT WEEK is ThAnkSGiviNG! 

For some reason it seems like we go from Halloween straight to Christmas... forgetting all about Thanksgiving. I am just amazed that before the retail stores have a chance selling all of the halloween costumes, boxes have arrived for them to start stocking the shelves for Christmas.  Don't get me wrong, I am one of the first people to start looking through the boxes, anxiously waiting (okay maybe not WAITING) to see what are in the boxes! 

BUT...this year I have been reminded (thank you Robin B.) that I have SO MUCH to be THANKFUL for!  So let me start TODAY by expressing each day what I am THANKFUL for.

 

These pictures are taken today after Kennedy got home from school.  I am thankful to see her smiling face and the laughter she brings to my life! I am thankful that I have been blessed with wonderful hearing so that I can listen to Kennedy read her "homemade" book to me! Children really are a blessing from God! Thank you God!

Crazy Chaotic Day!

Holiday Affair at By Design...We had such a busy day! Our day started at 9:30 and ended at 2:22 a.m....uggghhh! But so much fun!

Moving On...

Okay so we have now gotten through halloween and we are moving on to Thanksgiving! This year is just flying by! Halloween went well and the kids had a great time! Fall Festival at school, and party at the house. All the kids looked precious.  Thank goodness there were no "freaky people", or "scary" ones for that matter! 

Little ChAoS

Wow...is it SERiouSly ALREADY Sunday???  We started the weekend running!!  Caitlyn and Kennedy cheered at the Barbers Hill football game Friday. Ohhh sooo cute!!  They did a fantastic job!!! Saturday...well I DID get ALOT accomplished, just not everything I would have liked too!!! Scrapbook room is "somewhat" organized.  Well, at least I can walk through there..yikes! And then Saturday night, was a mother and daughter date.  Sunday...Kenny and I were invited by a friend of mine (Katia) to visit Sagemont Church.  Not only was the message good in service but I got to share it with a few of my friends from By Design Scrapbook Boutique.  I must say, I have really been blessed to be with such wonderful christian ladies!! 

So with all of that being said...this weekend went by with "little Chaos".

Yesterday was our first day of By Design Scrapbook Retreat.  What a day! I love getting to be with friends. Company is ALWAYS good with the girls from By Design! Thanks to all of you who came to crop!

DisneyWorld was Great! But, ALL good things MuST end.  We returned from DW September 7th, and life returned to normal ChAOs.  We are back into the swing of things.

My youngest (Kennedy) turned 7 on September the 6th.  She asked for 'ONLY' 1 thInG...a trip to DisneyWorld!! So, September 2nd @ 4am, YES 4AM, Kenny and I woke up Kennedy asking her if she would like to OPEN her birthday present EarLy. She slowly sat up and unwrapped her present to find a MiNNie Mouse hat and an invitation to COME CELEBRATE HER BIRTHDAY AT MICKEY & MINNIE's House in DisneyWorld. She was SPEECHLESS!! For the people that know Kennedy, know that she is NEVER speechless.  The look on her face was priceless!

CRAZY about CHAOS!

Well here it is...I actually have a BLOG! I am so excited about having CREATIVE CHAOS!! Creative Chaos is about my life. A wife, mom of three, a scrapbooker and having a partime job is CHAOS (if you consider working at By Design Scrapbook Boutique a job..heehee). I couldn't have picked a more PERFECT weekend to begin blogging...I am in Danbury, TX at a scrapbook retreat. Yes, of course I'm with By Design Scrapbook Boutique group...I love my "job". I feel so blessed to be here with such creative people! Laughing, staying up late (3:30a.m.), eating (alot), getting inspired and just hanging out with a great group of women!!! CHAOS is good...thanks to Tracy, Cheryl, Dusty, Jessica, Vanessa, Linda, Terry and a BUNCH more girls I have met along this journey of my life.

Well tata for now. I'm off to live a life of CREATIVE CHAOS!
